As Security Team Lead at Ubisoft Montreal, you will lead our Security Operations Center (SOC) as well as the digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) team within the Security Risk Management (SRM) group.

In this Security Team Lead role, you will oversee incident management, enhancement of security monitoring, and coordination with teams and leadership. The Security Team Lead position involves mentoring a distributed team of security analysts, combining technical expertise, strategic vision, and human leadership.

What you will do: - Lead incident responses and internal investigations throughout their lifecycle - Coordinate DFIR activities with security teams, leadership, and, when needed, local authorities - Collect and analyze security logs from multiple sources and produce clear reports - Define and evolve the team’s vision for incident detection and response - Organize the team’s work to optimize resource use and incident resolution - Represent the SOC and DFIR teams to internal security operations and risk management partners - Create an environment based on trust, open communication, and collaboration - Support the development of the team by anticipating future needs and proposing appropriate training

Qualifications: - Experience managing a distributed or remote security team - Strong investigative mindset and rigor in analyzing complex incidents - Hands-on expertise in cyber incident response and digital forensics - Ability to correlate and explain technical data to non-technical audiences - Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk and ELK Stack - Knowledge of EDR, IDS, DLP, Endpoint AV & EDR, IDS, DLP, and digital forensics solutions - Basic malware analysis and script de-obfuscation with CyberChef or automated sandbox tools - Cybersecurity or incident response certifications are a plus
