Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role will focus on assisting patients in restoring mobility, enhancing functionality, and achieving their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
• Document patient progress and their response to treatment methods.
• Assist in educating patients on their treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Capability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
